The Badlands pro is a great jacket. I was looking for the best level of crash & weather protection. The Badlands delivers on both counts. The armour is as good as you’ll get and after a few thousand km’s of winter riding in cold and wet conditions I’ve managed to stay warm and dry. I prefer the waterproof outer layer of this jacket to those with waterproof liners. The shell of the Badlands repels the water so the jacket does not get heavy and cold in the wet. I haven’t ridden in hot conditions yet but the jacket has heaps of vents so I’m sure it will be fine. It’s an expensive piece of kit but on a par with competitors jackets with Gore-Tex outer shells. Overall good value for the level of performance and it looks durable enough that I will not be replacing it in a hurry.
