Welcome to Moto SR Suspension. Your adventure bike suspension specialists. How is the CF Moto 450 MT KYB suspension? The general consensus is the stock suspension is not so bad. After riding it, we agree. Its not terrible, quite ridable. But can it be better? Absolutely!

Looking to upgrade your CF MOTO 450MT Suspension? Moto SR Suspension has been testing and developing the stock KYB suspension for our NZ customers. Since the introduction of the 450MT we’ve been working hard to improve these great bikes into an even better little adventure bike.

Yes it’s KYB suspension, BUT. This is basic, cheap KYB. You only have to look at the KYB fork stickers to confirm this. This is not the market leading KYB components you see on a Yamaha dirt bike.

We’ve been able to take the stock suspension, Revalve (improve) the forks and shock massively. Replace the stock progressive fork springs with straight rate springs to suit the riders weight. Replacement rear springs if required.

We now have different fork & shock settings (valving upgrades) tested here in NZ for NZ riders. The improvements are NIGHT & DAY.

After riding this bike I’ve never ridden before (Moto SR 450 MT test bike), I immediately felt the difference. More plush in the shock and even the front was a little more compliant as well. So I felt like I could ride that bike quite a lot harder than I could my own bike with the stock suspension. So yeah, well done. Definitely made an improvement over what I have stock. And I thought mine was pretty good. But I could feel the difference straight away.

I am blown away with the improvement of my 450MT suspension. There is significantly more traction with the rear when riding gravel, and the jarring from corrugation in the gravel is greatly reduced. I’m most surprised by the improvement of the feeling on the road. I wasn’t expecting it to feel like a sports bike in the corners! and it’s much stable when riding with a cross wind. Cracking job!
